Giovanissimi Regionali third at al "Torneo di Fontanafredda"
The adventure of Udinese's youth team Giovanissimi Regionali in the tournament "Torneo di Fontanafredda" (“at the….”?) ended at the third place (“ended in third place”?).Soldati: “No agreement concerning Sanchez to Barcelona”
In regards to the statements which have been attributed to me, regarding a supposed relocation of the Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez to FC Barcelona, I would like to clarify that they are absolutely unsubstantiated. No agreement has been arranged between Udinese Calcio and FC Barcelona and no meeting whatsoever is scheduled to discuss such a relocation.

Domizzi, a bulwark who likes to score
Udinese flies to Europe also thanks to its defensive zip, made of Benatia, Zapata and Maurizio Domizzi, three men with one goal: that of defuse the offensive advances towards Samir Handanovic's goal.
A defensive wall based on their strength and on the abilities of Domizzi who, in Udine, managed to give a boost to his career, even if he had already played with another important team, Napoli, where we only had gotten a glimpse of his true value.
With Udinese the 30-year-old left-handed defender has achieved the qualification for Champions League for the first time in his career, contributing with two goals - his seasonal record - both decisive for the final result. He scored the first one against Inter in the prestigious 23 Jen. home win (3-1), putting an end to his personal lack of goals which was going on from January 11, 2009, when he had scored his first goal in Friuli in the draw against Sampdoria.
Two weeks later, Feb. 2, he scored his second goal, the draw-goal against Bologna. As well as his team-mates, he has helped coach Guidolin in the hardest hour to keep the group united and concentrated, displaying a splendid performance at San Paolo stadium against Napoli in the match that launched Udinese towards the fourth place.
He is a mature lion ready to roar again, this time on the most important stage of continental football.
