Pepe Simone
Born in Albano Laziale on 30-08-1983, Forward
Pepe’s career starter (how about “started”?) in Roma in 2001-02. The year after he made en exploit (???) in Teramo scoring 11 nets (“goals” perhaps?). He ten (“ten”? Perhaps “then”?) played in Palermo and Piacenza (Serie B) and it was in the latter (“latter”? How about…”and it was in that team….”) that he made the astonishing record of 12 goals out of 30 matches. In 2005-06 Pepe debuted in Serie A first in Palermo’s lineup (“line-up”) and after with Udinese’s.
The next season the Roman forward came to maturity (??) in Cagliari, scoring 3 nets (“goals”?). His first one was against his old team, Palermo. In (the) summer (of) 2007 Udinese hired him for good. During his second experience in Friuli, Pepe has collected success and gratifications (?? How about “satisfaction”?). The coach, Pasquale Marino, both employs (“uses”???) him as a great third forward and as a ”pure” winger thus turning him into a round, versatile player.
Thanks to all the ingredients above (“pepper, salt, vinegar, oil”??), Pepe won the call up for the National Team and debuted with azzurri (“Azzurri”?) in Bulgaria-Italia in Sofia.
Inler Gokhan
Born in Olten (Svizzera “Switzerland”? ) on 27-06-1984, Midfielder
The Swiss midfielder signed with Udinese in summer 2007 and debuted on the first match day at San Siro against Italian Champions (Inter). On his debut, he was one of the best men on the field. Supporters and teammates greatly esteem him as a top level professional. His first season was astonishing: 37 games, 2 nets (nets? Reti? It was in Switzerland that he made his debut in 2006 with his National team uniform. He has already played 29 games with the Swiss team. In the 2008-08 season, he performed at high levels in Europe: 12 caps, 2 nets in UEFA Cup. His first UEFA net was in Dortmund (0-2 to Borussia) and the next at home to Werder Brema (3-3 draw) during the round of eight qualification. Inler will probably be one of the many bianconeri to take part into South Africa 2010 tournment (how about “tournament”?), next year.
