“In Parma a very good performance (how about: “We had a very good performance in Parma”?)
Paolo Sammarco: “We tried hard to win, we did our best and created some good chances to score. We only ran the risk of suffering a penalty ”.
The bianconero midfielder is a little upset for yesterday’s draw against Parma, but he is also conscious (or “aware that..”?) something has changed in Udinese’s attitude during their latest matches: “We created some good occasions to score. Both yesterday and against Lazio we would have deserved to win, but the important thing is that we have shown a new motivation. Yesterday in Parma we did a very good performance (how about “we played well”?. We only ran the risk of suffering a penalty. Once one of their men was red carded, Parma only wanted to defend. We tried hard to win until the last minute and did our best for the whole (or “entire”) 90 (90 what?? Minute perhaps?) game”.
Udinese’s new attidude (is it a “dude” or is it an “attitude”?) is the right one: “You always have to be rational, (“and”) clear-minded. In difficult moments, the slightest mistake may prove fatal. Now we have to try to be accurate and united to seek the net (which “net”? The tennis one?. We do not have to concede goals”.
Next Sunday our adversary at Friuli (how about “Stadio Friuli” or “Friuli’s stadium”?) is Delneri’s (“isn’t his last name “Del Neri”?) Sampdoria: “Despite the difficult moment Samp are living, we cannot expect them to be afraid of facing us. They have high quality players and they come here to win (“and they’ll be coming here to win”??). Our approach this season cannot be compared (“compared” to what exactly?): they started very well and then have slowed down, while Udinese have never actually found continuity in their results. It will be an interesting match because they usually adopt the 4-4-2 tactical scheme, as we do. Our advantage is to play a home match, in front of our numerous supporters.”
