Starway to where?

Unquestionably, Led Zeppelin’s most famous song is “Stairway To Heaven”. The song was first written in December, 1970 and completed in 1971. We’re therefore talking about “only” 40 years ago, 40 years that we’ve been listening not only to this fantastic masterpiece of rock and roll but that we’ve also been reading the name of this touching song.

You’d think that the Italian media would get the name straight? Of course not! In the March 19, 2010 edition of La Repubblica’s magazine, “Il Venerdi’” (p. 132), what did they write on a collection of Zep CDs? “Starway To Heaven”??
