“I expect to see a great performance: we want to win again”
Gianni De Biasi on the eve of Udinese-Napoli: “Tomorrow, a tough match”
The defeat at the Olimpico for the Coppa Italia match does not seem to have overwhelmed Udinese: progress has been made, and more progress is still to come. Gianni De Biasi is as realistic as usual: “It was a punch in the face. And we didn’t react in the right manner: we lacked of (“of”?) strength and balance. In such situations, you are sometimes a victim of some negative mental approaches I am trying to eradicate. I am sure Udinese will overcome this impasse”.
About tomorrow’s match, few doubts (word order….!). “The opponent team (no need to also say “team”) is a high level squad, they must really share some values that make them united and compact. Are we tired? We have only had two days to recover, but I am not worried: after the defeat in Rome we are more and more determined to win again and what I expect to see tomorrow is a great performance and a tough match”.

“It was a relief!”
The day after Udinese-Napoli
Giovanni Pasquale’s face is smiling and relaxed the day after Udinese-Napoli: “It was a relief. We really missed winning and the best thing about yesterday was that we really deserved it. We have recently played quite good football, and the win against Napoli is just crushing”.
Udinese want (“wants”?) now to play like a six-speed car: “That’s the way we want to play from now on, if you start from the very first minute playing in the right manner, then you leave no chances to the opposing team”. What if it was that little bit of luck… “I hope so. Lately, we have been both unlucky and imprecise, thus missing some good chances. Against Napoli it was different”. Milan is round (“around”?) the corner: “It won’t be the same team we met for the Coppa Italia. It is true they are also concentrated on the Champions (“Champions’ ”?) League, but I don’t think they will spare energies (“spare their energy”?). Moreover Roma has got (“gotten”?) ahead of Milan. We have to be determined and take advantage of (“a short…”?) short passing game”. What did you tell your captain Di Natale in the dressing room after his stunning hat-trick? “…We insulted him and told him off… (Laughing)”.
