Udinese...

12-12-2010

“The victory of the temperament” (??)

Francesco Guidolin: “The guys have wanted, taken and deserved this victory”

Coach Guidolin’s Udinese use their home match against Fiorentina to step out and go up to 23 points. Among the friendly walls (???) of “Friuli” Stadium another astonishing performance for Udinese’s supporters: “I want my players to understand how different this match was from the one against Parma – says the coach from Castelfranco Veneto during the press conference -. I was calmer today in the interval, despite the unfavourable result, than I was at (“the”?) “Tardini”. The guys has (“have”?) wanted, taken and deserved this victory. Now we have to play with this same intensity also in the away matches”. The Friulian team has recovered the disadvantage branded (??) Santana with Armero’s long-distance torpedo and Di Natale’s magic: “We feared Fiorentina, we really did. We had seen them do great things in the last two away matches of Milan and Turin. Today we showed we have a large heart (but small brain, at least when it comes to English…!), also on a difficult field. It couldn’t be better, it’s rained a lot lately in Udine. The team has perfectly reacted to the disadvantage, keeping calm and increasing the pace. We’re pleasant to look at, if we play with this temperament”. Next Sunday, in the midday advance (??), Udinese is to play at (“the”?) “Olimpico” in Rome to face the second in ranking (??), Edy Reja’s Lazio: “We don’t dream, we don’t make promises. After our bad start, it is a good result having 23 points. We seize the day and we try and hold on to this ranking”. For Pablo Armero it is the first goal in Serie A: “The Columbian player is gradually inserting. Our group is variegated (???) and multi-ethnic”. Di Natale’s change in the final? “The captain was out of fuel”. The last word is for German Denis, the author (novels?) of the assist of Totò’s winning goal: “His (“he’s”?) getting better and better day after day. He’s given tone and brightness to the match”.
