Udinese...

Pozzo: "Valeri unsuitable"
The words of Udinese chairman after AC Milan-Udinese

So said Gianpaolo Pozzo after the match which saw Udinese fall on the third extra-time minute for a penalty kick decided by referee Valeri: "We are unlucky, another referee had been initially designated for this match - said Udinese chairman with bitterness -. He is one of the two-three referees who are technically unsuitable for refereeing. I said so before: Veleri has not the right balance to referee in the Serie A. It's always a raffle with him, and in that raffle we are always the losers. I still recall the episodes with Parma, AC Milan and the first-leg match against Juventus. It was a disaster, he has no balance for fundamental decisions. He has given another gift to the opposite team, crucial for the outcome of the match (“which was crucial for the outcome…”?). If the referee committee excluded this kind of referees, the situation of the whole category would benefit, because our referees are the best of the world" (“in the world”?).
