“Udinese of yesterday’s first half (????) is the one we want to see in Milan”

Emanuele Belardi looks back to yesterday’s match and forward to the Tim Cup game

It is a difficult moment for Udinese, one of those moments when men of deeper (??? How about, “greater”!!!) experience can give a great contribution to the team. We are talking about –although he is not the only one –Emanuele Belardi: “Against Milan in Coppa Italia, it will be hard, even if – you know - anything can happen in football, even when you play away against the second team of the table. We are doing our best to get to the semifinal (“semi-final”?). It would be a breath of fresh air”. After Milan, De Biasi’s men are facing Catania for another demanding match: “From here on, we are playing 18 finals. No mistakes can be made nor tolerated if we want to turn the page. Against Sampdoria we had been naive, and during the second half we really had the worst possible mental attitude. It is not necessarily wrong to play again after such a short break, the real Udinese must come back”.
