Guidolin:
“Positive signals and commitment”
The test against ND Gorica, playing in Slovenia’s main league
(“which plays in Slovenia’s…”?), was useful to try out the squad in view of
important matches. “As usual, we have played (or “we played”?) a friendly match
against a tough opponent – the coach said at the end of the match -. In these
matches I use my unused subs, those who have to show me they are ready. I have
received positive signals from all of them, they are very committed to our
cause. It’s been a good day’s work”.
What do you think of Maicosuel?
He is doing fine and he’s understood what we want from him. He’s confirmed the good impression I had (“I had of him”?) in Naples. What do you think of Allan?
I need all of them, but they have to listen to me. We are in the Serie A and we have to work seriously. Admonitions are for his sake and to get to our goal (!!!).
Did you get any tactical information from this friendly (“match”?)?
We have tried different patterns to take out the best abilities of our footballers. Our squad need (“squad needs”?) to be ready for changes in game plan (“in the game plan”?) and positions. They need to follow a certain path to be ready when we need them. Armero, in Colombia, has played a great match against Paraguay.
National teams are always an incentive, but he is a very talented player, the only thing that matters is for him to be healthy. Pablo only needs to find his enthusiasm because he has what it takes to react.
