Maicosuel and Muriel at the Udinese Store
A large crowd has welcomed (“welcomed”?) Maicosuel and
Muriel at the Udinese Store yesterday. Udinese players have signed (“signed”?)
autographs for more than a hour and have posed (“posed”?) for the photos (“for
photos”?) taken by more than 100 fans who were at the official venue situated
in Via Portanuova. Our two players, few days “(just a few days”?) before the
home match against Pescara, have had a taste of the Friulian warm-heartedness!

Udine feels like home. At least until 2016. Giovanni
Pasquale has renewed his contract with the Club for another four years, a clear
signal of the trust between the parties. The mutual happiness is a proof of it
(“is proof of it”?).
The love story between the left-footer and Udinese was born in July, 2008, when he was bought from Livorno and he made 28 appearances and 3 goals for Udinese. Attached to the squad, always attentive in training sessions, Pasquale has made 120 appearances and scored 4 goals for Udinese so far.
His latest goal has made him part of the Club’s history: minute 72 and the score at Anfield says Liverpool 1-2 Udinese. Di Natale, who had equalized Shelvey’s initial goal and kicked the free-kick where Coates’ own-goal came from, sees Giovanni coming from the left flank and serves him. Pasquale’s left-foot kick is precise and powerful and enters the goal. 3-1: joy for him and the Friulian fans.
