PRESS RELEASE by GIANPAOLO POZZO
“The yellow card to Sanchez is just unbearable. Now we have to be as one and keep on supporting the coach, who is actually doing a great job”
Gianpaolo Pozzo steps in from Spain after watching today’s match to point out how Udinese was unfairly denied a penalty after the bad foul Gastaldello made on Sanchez, and to underline how unbearable the yellow card given to Sanchez was. “Maybe we have been excessively polite and correct and thus (no comma), we have been misunderstood. It is the second time Sanchez is (“that Sanchez is…”?) denied a fair penalty and given
a yellow card, (comma) instead. The referee might have had a doubt but a caution is too much. I hope Collina reads this and puts an end to such episodes”. About the match: “I have seen how Udinese have (“has”?) improved, they have fought to win, and have shown to be detemined (“determined”?. Well, there might have been a little confusion on the pitch sometimes (“at times?) . The tactical aspect must be improved. Certainly De Biasi has had a good influence on the team, we have to respect his job and let him work. We must be as one (“be united”?) and give our support”. About the table (“table”’ Which table, the one in the kitchen?) : “It is a difficult moment, but we still have time and chances (??). There is still the whole second half of the campaign ( Which campaign, Albania? Greece?) to play. No one, the Club (“club”?) , the Staff (“staff”), the players want to waste time, not even a minute. We need everyone’s contribution” About the team (“regarding the team”?) : “We need the players to be as fit as possible. Hard work is the key word to show what we can do and we are actually not doing now” (“and we are actually not doing IT now”?).
