Udinese...

01-03-2012

National reports: Udinese all around the world (“Udinese is all around the world”?)!

While matches are being played in Asia worth a place for 2014 World Cup, in the other continents yesterday was the day for friendly matches and, for the coaches, to test new lineups in view of the next official matches (how about putting THIS phrase in a proper order??).

Udinese are, as usual, spread all around the world. Starting from Pablo Armero, protagonist of Colombia’s win over Mexico (2-0). Udinese side (??) defender played at the Sun Life Stadium (Miami) for 90 minutes and was the author (he ALSO wrote a book as he was kicking around a ball??) of the assist for the second goal scored by Cuadrado. The black arrow (Robin Hood was also playing??) was very good at flying on the left and serve Lecce player (“and serving the Lecce player”?). Also Gabriel Torje was one of the protagonists of his national team’s match against Uruguay: his splendid cross towards Bogdan Stancu was worth the draw for Romania. Our player stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes. 90 minutes also for Asamoah, in the match his Ghana played against Chile in Chester, USA (word order??) Ghana take (“took”?) the lead with Mpong, but Mati Fernandez gets a draw (“got a draw”?) in the 71st minute. “Asa” made a good performance. Ghana will start international (“will start its international matches”?) matches in June with the qualifying rounds for 2014 World Cup (“for the 2014 World Cup”?). The Black Stars are in the same round with Sudan, Lesotho and the new African champions Zambia. Slovenia-Scotland ends (“ended”?) with a draw (1-1). Samir Handanovic is Slovenia captain and plays the whole match (“played the whole match”?). After Kirm’s first goal, Handanovic is beaten (“was beaten”?) by Berra’s header which is just unstoppable (“was just unstoppable”?). Dusan Basta has played (“played 73 minutes”?) 73 minutes against Cyprus. His Serbia don’t get more (“didn’t get more”?) than a goalless draw in Larnaca.
