Torje on Udinese Channel: “Udinese the ideal team to grow up in”
Gabriel Torje was hosted last night at “Udinese Tonight”, the programme hosted by Gabriele Schiavi on Udinese Channel (channel 110 of the digital terrestrial television). The Romanian striker told us about his experience in Udine: “I feel very well here, there is the right environment to play well and you can live in a quiet town that allows you to work with calm (“allows you to work calmly”?) and concentration”. Torje is a stable national team player, having made 16 appearances (“16 caps”?) and scored 4 goals with Romania. With Udinese he has scored on “(one”?) goal in Florence: “I hope I can score again, my goal is to bring my team as high as possible, possibly by scoring a lot”. How far can Udinese go? “We’re in the running both for the Europa League and the championship and we have what it takes to go to the end. Lifting a trophy would be great, but we’ll feel content with a third place (“with third place position”?) that would allow us to enter the Champions League (“Champions’ League”?). We know we need to do our best, our opponents are hard-fighters”. Gabriel Torje will not play at the “Afas Stadion” in Alkmaar. “It’s a shame, I’m sorry I cannot be a part of the European expedition, especially because the possible final will be played in my home country, Bucharest, but I will be Udinese’s first rooter (??) and will boost my team-mates to a win”. And finally his secret dream: “I wish I could play well in Italy. I am ready and whenever the coach calls me, I am always there for him. I’m young and I can do better and better, I’m really eager to show everybody what I’m made of”.
