Fabbrini:
“We played a good match, I am sorry we didn’t score”
After the last European appearance of the season, Diego
Fabbrini feels satisfied with the squad’s performance and confident in the good
continuance (!!!) of the championship: “We played a good match, we did our
best. They gave us a hard time at first with possession, but then we had a good
number of chances, even if we didn’t score”.
Does the win of Young Boys and their affirmation in Europe make the
elimination less bitter? “This round was complicated, the Europa League teams are all first-level. Young
Boys seemed to be a weak team at first, but they turned out to be great. It was
one of the toughest rounds, made of very good teams”. Do you think you’ll play in Europe next year?
“It would be great, but I think we have to take one thing at a time. I think we should try to do our best one match at a time, then we will be able to see where we are at the end of the year”.
