Giovanni De Biasi: “We are playing with our best possible line-up to win the match. Against Lumezzane no mistakes are tolerated”

Tomorrow Udinese is facing Lumezzane at Friuli for the round of sixteen of Coppa Italia: “What I want from the squad is not to underestimate the match and to make the best of it. Every match can turn out to be dangerous without the right attitude. The eleven regulars must do their best and be conscious that they will have to sweat. Lumezzane have nothing to lose, they have eliminated Gallipoli, Ancona and Atalanta: teams of a higher category than theirs. They are living a positive moment in the championship, they are in the hot part of the table and last Sunday they defeated Viareggio. We cannot be superficial with Menichini’s men”.

The Bianconeri do not seem to lack motivation. Winning tomorrow might mean direct access to the round of eight against the winning team of Milan-Novara: “This match counts a lot. We have the chance to strengthen the progress and the result we got against Lazio. Not to mention that a winning match would mean getting to the hot zone of the table. We are playing with our best possible line-up”.

De Biasi is choosing the eleven men tomorrow morning: “Lodi is a high qualità (“qualita’”? Try “quality” in English!) player. I want to check (better “see”) where he can express at his best on the pitch. As for the whole squad, they have a (“the”?) potential that must be uncovered in order to face every team fearlessly”.
