“Concentration and an offensive attitude. We still have the chance to show what Udinese can do”
Aleksandar Lukovic: “From now on, every match is like a final to us. It is in difficult situations that the determination and strength of a group can come out”
“Concentration and an offensive attitude have to be the key words now, we still have the chance to show who we are, to show what we can do”. That’s the beginning of Aleksandar Lukovic’s press conference today: he goes straight to the point. “From now on, we have to play every match as it was (or “were”?) a final: we want to win.” The Serbian defender, after the three positive results in the League and Coppa Italia, wants his team-mates to be concentrated and clear minded: “We must focus on our possibilities, our objectives. We should ignore other teams’ results. I am not satisfied of what I have done on the pitch since the beginning of the season, I have to admit it. We can still improve. It is in difficult situations that the determination and strength of a group can come out. A win can now change one’s attitude”. Sampdoria has collected three point (“points”?) out of seven matches: “They are not living (or “going through…”?) a positive moment either. There is little difference for us whether Cassano is playing or not. Lately, in the dressing room we have talked so long to coach De Biasi to try to understand where our problems come from. It is about time we overcame this dead end”.
